Proper Care Of Stainless Steel
When installing, avoid contamination by working with clean hands and away from places where iron is cut with saws.
Once installed, the product must be cleaned and degreased with special commercial products or washed with clean water. Do not use steel wool, scotch bight or any abrasive materials or cleaners (solvents or bleach).
Scratches and rough edges must be mechanically removed to prevent the inclusion of contaminants. Avoid damage caused by tools in the installation process, use only stainless steel tools.
In installations near the ocean, products must be cleaned well at the end of the installation and at least twice a month. If cleaning is not possible due to the location of the accessories, a transparent polyurethane varnish or transurethane finish must be applied before installation.
